La Montanita Pacamara This Estate is only 17.5 Hecatares and is completly planted with Pacamara cultivar. This interest in superior grade coffees led the founder Gino Del Rosso in the direction of the specialty coffee industry where he had the opportunity to cup coffees that were competition grade. After months of buying estate grown coffee from small roasters and the increasing amount of friends and family members interested in this elite coffee Gino began purchasing estate coffee in bulk pre roasted and selling it. After a small amount of success Gino made his first large order of coffee and was unpleasantly surprised when the coffee arrived green. This small mistake turned out to be a blessing as it forced Gino to buy his first small home roaster where he begun experimenting with the roasting process. After years of roasting this hobby has turned into a small family business and Del Rosso Coffee was officially organized as a DBA of Del Ro, LLC in 2009. Del Rosso Coffee now imports much of its coffee directly from the estates and custom roast micro lots to our customer's specifications at 5 different roast levels. All of our coffee is single origin estate specialty Arabica usually cupping at around 80+ although we have been known to get many Cup of Excellence estates cupping 85-90 for those customers who are true coffee snobs.
